He smiled, though he realize he hadn't taken a look at the menu, "Umm..." he felt so akward for not even looking, "I'm not ready yet." Nicholas sighed rolling his eyes he walked away. As he looked over his menu he just realized what Carman had said, "what ya plan to ditch me after this? Just use me for my money & food huh? " He did laugh a bit; but continued to look at the menu; finally taking his eyes off Carman. "Please tell me your one of those girls that actually gets some food, instead of a freakin' salad"

Carman rolled her eyes at his comment and shook her head as well as the waiter. She really couldn't blame him, Serian really had been rude about it. "I don't eat and run thanks. I'm not that arrogant and if you think I am you're liable to-" she paused, deciding not to go on with the comment she was about to make. She had better things to do than to snap at him at that moment.
"Well I was going to order some pasta but if you want me to get a salad," she turned to the salads page and looked up at him, "I'll order myself a freakin' salad." He had some nerve, that was for certain. For some reason he had a way of making her stomach flutter and grind her nerves all at the same time. Quite the talent. [/blockquote]

Serian smiled, "Get what ya want...I'm just saying," he stopped before he got his head ripped off and served to him. Serian couldn't decide between the steak or the cheese burger. He glanced up from his menu to Carman, he almost lost track of time, that was until he noticed their waiter Nicholas was standing over them, "uh-hum", clearing his throught, "Are you two ready to order now or what?" Serian looked up to the pimple faced snob. Closing his menu, Serian ordered, "I'll have the classic cheeseburger, with season fries." Serian grinned handing the menu to Nicholas.
"And you?" Said the boy looking over to Carman, and now once again Serian stared at Carman. He just couldn't help it.

Carman figured that Serian knew better than to question her after she'd snapped at him. And it was a good thing, too, simply because it would have only made the situation worse. Then the waiter came and it was a minute with both of them staring at Serian before he finally realized he was there. Carman shook her head. She looked over the two selections that she'd been debating on and did an iny-mini-miny-mo in her head before finally coming to a conclusion.
"I'll have the alfredo chicken pasta with a Caesar salad please," she said, looking over the menu as she ordered. She gave the waiter a small smile and a thank you as he gathered up the menus and left. "There, happy?" [/blockquote]

Serian nodded and smiled, "Yes; I'm just sick of girls getting nothing but salads thinking they need to loos the weight". He laughed a bit thinking on how many dates he's been on with these woman and all they order is a diet coke & a salad. Shaking his head, looking back at Carman. "So I haven't seen you for a while; what ya been doing? Hiding from me?", he smiled charmingly. He had plans in his head and soon, just soon enough they would come into play.

Carman smiled. Well at least he had opinions. She couldn't have agreed more. She wasn't about to go out to dinner or lunch only to order a salad that she could very well have made on her own or gone down to the kitchens to get. No use paying for it if it was the only thing on the agenda. Incidentally the salad came with the meals and she rather liked salad. The next couple questions shot at her weren't much of a surprise but at the same time were.
"Um... I've been busy." she spouted almost immediately. In all reality she had, indeed, been avoiding him. She'd kept to her own commons and classes and to the library mainly but other than that she was really nowhere to be seen. "I have OWLs this year and I have to cram. My father would skin me alive if I failed my Exams. Plus... I've been training...." She left it off at that and took a sip of her sprite. [/blockquote]

He shrugged, "Ya sure ya haven't been ignoring me." Smiling he popped off with what he knew would defiantly be an annoying question and probably get him slaughtered, "Intimidated?" , but with his guts he said it anyway, hoping it would lead him one stepper closer to his plans. He watched Carman smiling, this time he looked her up and down, sorta checking her out you could say.

Carman's eyes widened. Could she be possibly hearing what he was saying to her? Surely he wouldn't be so rude! But this was the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. "I'm so not intimidated by the likes of you!" she hissed, her crystal blue eyes flashing in irritation. The nerve! "I'd kick your ass easy and you know it. And stop staring at me! It's rude and distasteful!" [/blockquote]

Ah, the moment he had been waiting for. Quickly before he could let Carman get another word out, Serian leaned over the table and placed his lips on Carmans. Pressing them deeply and passionatly in a kiss. His mind raced as well as his heart, he was hoping that he wouldn't get slapped, so he waited still sitting there kissing her for a good couple minutes.

What happened next was the last thing Carman had ever thought would happen. Was this really happening or was it a dream? Surely Serian wasn't kissing her! And yet she could feel his lips against hers, feel the want in the kiss. Her heart thudded in her chest, almost threatening to burst through her rib cage and dance on the table in front of them. For a moment she was completely wrapped up in the kiss and all thoughts were driven from her mind, but then she came back to reality.
Carman pulled from the kiss quickly with a look of shock on her face. She had half a mind to storm out, never to see him again, but then the other half told her that the kiss was right. "What the hell was that for?!" [/blockquote]

Serians lips broke into a smile, he had done it; and not gotten slapped. "Carman. I can't control it anymore. I like you, I more than like you but I can't really understand what this feeling is. " He leaned back into his chair as his eyes this time rested gently on the beautiful eyes of carman, instead of his normal glancing at Carmans beautiful face & body. He ran his fingers through his hair, "I can't get you out of my head. I find myself in class wasting time thinking about you, and only you"

Carman was taken aback. This couldn't be right could it? Wow... she thought, still feeling his lips upon hers. She almost wanted to kiss him again but held back the urge. There were things that just shouldn't be done. Then again, he was still staring at her. Well it was a little lighter than simply staring but it was close enough. So he liked her? She thought that the tingling in her stomach was nothing more than nerves but apparently they were something.
"Serian-" she was cut off when the waiter came up with their food. Suddenly she wasn't all that hungry. How could she think of food at a time like this? "Cheeseburger with season fries." the waiter spouted off, setting the plate in front of him. "And alfredo ravioli for the young lady. Anything else you need?" [/blockquote]

Raising his hand, not even looking up at the waiter, he shoo'd him away as he spoke again. "Yes Carman?" Serian didn't even glance down at his food, but just stared at Carman. What he said was true, he could keep his mind off Carman. For the past week, he had been trying to find her but he truely thought she was trying to ignore him. Serian often would be brought back to reality by a teacher snapping at him, or the bell ringing for class to end from his daydreams of just Carman & her smile.

Carman had to admit that in the past week the only reason she'd thought about Serian was to reminisce about how stupid he'd been in getting in her way. Those guys should have known that she wasn't one to mess around with and Serian just had to butt his head in where it shouldn't have been. She could have taken care of herself quite well without him getting punched and he only realized that after he got a fist in the face.
She watched as Serian brushed away the waiter again and she gave a wave of apology as he walked off to serve his other customers. There had to be some congregation back in the back where he was more than likely bitching about how rude the two had been to him and how he expected a nice tip. Well, for the way Serian was acting, she was sure to have the tip be a good size.
But Carman was still not able to say a single thing. She tried talking but nothing came out. "Serian..." she paused again, trying to think of how best to say whatever it was she may have wanted to say. The truth was she had absolutely no idea what to say after a stunt like that. If he'd have wanted her to shut up then this was a good plan. Otherwise... Well she just couldn't make it out. [/blockquote]

He could tell that she was uneasy with saying what she had to say, and no matter what it was he was going to be patient. Quietly his stomach started to rumble, realize how hungry he is, but also realizing that neither him nor Carman have touched their food yet. "Ya gonna eat your pasta before it gets cold?" He smiled and gave a small laugh, as he picked up a fry or two and began to eat his meal.
